Real file or a chat file

The file this preview will identify is yono.apk. The label is Yono, the version name is 1.0.1, and the size is 2,569,509 bytes, read on 24 October 2026. A file that arrives in chat is a different file until those three facts match.
When this applies
Use this guide when a person has sent an apk, a zip, or a link and called it Yono. Use it when a download finished but the size looks small. Use it when the icon that appeared is a bank, or some other rummy name, and you want to know whether the measured file was what you installed. The entry decision, before any file, is still the entry guide.
This page does not review files hosted on other sites. It does not tell you to search the web for a replacement. If the Download button on this preview is not the file you meant, stop. There is no second official size hiding under another name in these guides.
The facts to hold up against the file
Read four lines and ignore the rest of the sales text. The file name on our button is yono.apk. The application label after install is Yono. The version name is 1.0.1. The byte size is 2,569,509. A phone download list may round that size to about 2.5 MB. Rounding is normal. A file of a few hundred kilobytes, or a file that claims a version name other than 1.0.1, is not this copy.
There is one build in this set. You will not find a newer version name on these pages. If a message offers an update with a different number, that message is not this guide speaking. Keep the file you already checked, or download again from the same button and compare the size.
Check a file before you install
- Prefer Download on this preview. Note the address: it is the app guide’s downloads path, and the name is yono.apk.
- Wait until the transfer finishes. If the phone shows a size far under 2,569,509 bytes, delete that partial file and start again. A short file is an interrupted transfer.
- Read the completed size in the notification or the file app. About 2.5 MB is the phone’s rounding of this file. A size that is not in that neighbourhood is a different file.
- Only then open the installer. Android will show the app name it is about to install. Expect Yono.
- After install, open the system app info screen. Read the label and the version name. Expect Yono and 1.0.1.
- If a chat file is what you were sent, put it beside those four facts. If any one of them differs, do not install it from this guide’s authority. The guide simply does not cover it.
The banner on the channel is a different control
After you press Play, the channel can show a banner with a Download button of its own. That button belongs to the channel page. These guides do not measure the file that banner saves, and they do not copy the banner’s marketing lines into the file description. If you followed the banner, you do not yet know that you have version name 1.0.1 at 2,569,509 bytes. Come back and use this preview’s Download if that is the copy you want identified.
Play itself never saves yono.apk. A person who says the website link “is the apk” is mixing the two buttons. The website or app guide separates them.
What a chat file often changes
A forwarded file can keep the name yono.apk and still be a different build. The name is the weakest of the four facts. Size and version name are the ones you can check without trusting the sender. A file that asks you to enable installation from that chat app, and then shows a label other than Yono, has already failed the test.
Zip files, “mod” files, and files that arrive with a version story in the caption are outside this page. Do not unpack them because the caption mentions 1.0.1. The version name that counts is the one Android shows after a clean install of the measured file, on the system screen.
Side by side
| Check | Measured copy | Treat as a different file when |
|---|---|---|
| Name | yono.apk | The name matches but the size does not |
| Label | Yono | The installer shows a bank name or another brand |
| Version name | 1.0.1 | Any other version name |
| Size | 2,569,509 bytes, about 2.5 MB on a phone | The transfer is much smaller |
| Source | Download on this preview | Chat, a directory of many apps, or the channel banner |
After the facts match
Install, then read the label once on the system screen so you know which icon you opened. Log in inside the app with the mobile field. Email registration on that build is not currently supported. The browser, if you use Play instead, still accepts email or mobile. Both doors are described on the login guide and the app login guide.
If Android says the install conflicts with an app already on the phone, stop. This file will not install over a different signature. The existing install guide says what that message means, and it does not ask you to remove some other product as a required step.
If the size never reaches the full file
Move to a steadier connection and download once. Two overlapping downloads can leave you with a partial file and a full one side by side. Delete the short one. Do not rename a short file to force the installer. Android will reject a broken package, and a broken package is not a sign that you need a file from somewhere else.
If the full size is there and the label is still wrong, you installed a different app that happens to share a file name in the chat. Check the version name. Then use the name guide. The bank app in particular will not show version name 1.0.1 for this product, because it is not this product.
What this page will not do
It will not publish a checksum on the page, a package name, or a minimum Android version. It will not rank other people’s builds. It will not tell you a chat file is safe because the sender is familiar. Familiarity is not one of the four facts. The four facts are name, label, version name, and size, and only the copy from this preview’s Download button is the one we measured.
Questions
The phone says about 2.5 MB. Is that this file?
It can be. 2,569,509 bytes is the exact size. Phones often round that to about 2.5 MB. A much smaller number is an incomplete transfer or a different file.
The chat file is also called yono.apk. Is the name enough?
No. Compare the size and, after install, the label Yono and the version name 1.0.1.
Should I search for another copy if this one fails?
No. Download again from the same button. These pages do not point at a second host.
Is the Download banner on the channel the same file?
These pages do not say that. The banner is the channel’s control. The measured file is the Download button here.
There is only version 1.0.1?
Yes, on these three previews. One build, version name 1.0.1.
